Link Projekt Ltd. was formed in February 2006 by Petr Damek, Vilem Jüttner and Dr. Tomas Kulhavy, P.Eng.. In 2006 HBH Projekt Ltd., a company providing complex services in road planning and design, project management and supervision, became the majority owner of Link Projekt. Link Projekt supports the HBH group with its expertise in a field of bridge and structural design. Together with other members of HBH Group we are capable to provide complex services to the clients. Our capability is based on a long professional history and design experience of the partners and the team built around them and the experience gained during six years of successful acting on the market. In 2009 the branch office of Link Projekt in Slovakia has been established.

We specialize in design of all types of bridges in all design levels – studies, tender designs and final designs. Our clients are both bridge owners and contractors. For contractors we offer also additional services comprising of complete detailed design and detailing, value engineering, construction and erection engineering.

Since company was formed a team of experienced senior engineers supported by motivated junior engineers and draftsmen has been established. Currently 25 people work with the company (5 senior engineers, 9 engineers, 3 junior engineers, 6 draftsmen and 2 members of support staff).
Ten engineers are chartered engineers registered with The Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians, three engineers are registered in Slovakia and one is registered in British Columbia. Several engineers have completed their postgraduate studies and others are currently studying in postgraduate programs.

Our engineers have experience with a variety of bridge structural systems (girder, truss, arch, cable stayed, stress ribbon), construction methods (cantilever, movable scaffolding system, incremental launching and heavy lifting) and technologies (cast-in-place, pre-cast, segmental, composite). Their experience is both in structural design (FEM analysis, time dependent analysis, dynamic analysis, earthquake design) and in construction engineering. While working for the international contractors our engineers gained experience in the design according to the international design codes.
Some of our engineers have extensive experience with the design coordination and during their professional career they played a key role as Design Managers for several major motorway projects in the Czech and Slovak Republic including the 70 km motorway PPP project in Slovakia. Their work has been acknowledged by both the contractors and the bridge owners.
The international experience is based both on the individual engagements of the key team members ( California, Canada, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan with world leading companies as AECOM and Billfinger Berger ) and the current international activities of the company where the following references could be mentioned:
- Detail Design – Philippines and Mauretania
- Dynamic Analysis – LGV France
- Tender submittals – Iraq, Abu Abu Dhabi
Through the HBH Group, Link projekt is capable of providing full range of services related to the preparation of the big Design-built Tenders. Among others, the company has been involved in the following tenders:
- PPP R1 Motorway Slovakia
- Design-built tenders for D1 Motorway in Slovakia, sections Dubna Skala-Turany and Fricovce - Svinia
